Dmitry Firtash met with businessmen and local authorities of Mykolaiv region
In the course of his regular field trip in a capacity of the President of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine – this time to Nikolaev region – Mr. Dmitry Firtash met with the local administration and business people. Talking to the audience, Mr. Firtash maintained that enterprise promotion in Ukraine must rely on creating new companies and utilization of advanced technologies, said Mr. Firtash.
“We have grown accustomed to living with what we have. We have more or less reanimated the enterprises we used to have but this already is our past while the present and future is not there. We have to launch a new movement which will power our business because it is business that affects the state policy making and creates jobs,” said Mr. Firtash.
The FEU President pointed out that in China, 370 thousand new companies were founded over the past 50 years. “In our country one would barely count the most of 100 enterprises in which more than 5 million dollars were invested over 20 years. I don’t even want to quote this figure. Ukraine must develop its industrial sector to achieve the nation’s life quality improvement. Whenever a big enterprise is being built, small and medium businesses start mushrooming around – someone is a construction contractor, someone opens laundry, cleaning or a café – the life gets booming in town,” said Mr. Firtash.
