Mission

Group DF sees great potential for growth in the global fertilizer market and is planning for OSTCHEM to continue expanding as a major global supplier. Still, the Ukrainian market remains a priority for OSTCHEM.

Leading world research centers forecast a global population of 9 billion by 2050. To satisfy the increased demand for food, experts estimate that global food production will have to rise by around 70%. This, in turn, will lead to growing global demand for fertilizers.

OSTCHEM’s mission is to address growing demand for food by offering advanced chemical solutions to the global agricultural industry.

Strategy

Combining all OSTCHEM assets, including production capacities of nitrogen fertilizer producers, logistic infrastructure and distribution network, allows OSTCHEM to optimize its investment, production, marketing, logistics and sales policies, while at the same time cutting operating costs.

Today, OSTCHEM is the fastest-growing chemical business in Ukraine, in terms of capital investments and output growth.

Group DF’s M&A strategy for this business segment is to continue the acquisition and consolidation of new production facilities and to enter new markets around the world.
