Statement from Dieter Böhmdorfer, the lawyer of Dmitry Firtash

As the lawyer of Dmitry Firtash, I officially state that the information distributed earlier today about the alleged decision of Austrian authorities related to extradition of Dmitry Firtash to the USA is false.

The only decision taken by an Austrian court in respect to my client was taken on 14 March. This ruling specified the conditions for Mr Firtash’s release on bail. Mr Firtash will be released in course of the next few days.

The statements on behalf of Dmitry Firtash, which appeared in the media earlier today, have not been made by my client. Mr Firtash will make an official statement as soon as he is released.
