28 December 2019 For 11 months of 2019, PJSC “Azot” produced 1.4 million tons of mineral fertilizers26 December 2019. Cherkasy. Ukraine For 11 months of this year, PJSC “Azot” (Cherkasy), a member of Group DF nitrogen line of business, produced 1 420 000 t of nitrogen fertilizers. In particular, 417 500 t of marketable ammonium nitrate, 557 200 t of marketable urea, 438 100 t of CAN, 9 200 t of aqueous ammonia. In addition, the company also produced 738 700 t of ammonia, including 55 700 t of marketable ammonia, 507 200 t of non-concentrated nitric acid. “In 2019, we achieved almost 100% workload of our production capacities. At the end of the year, our output will grow by approximately 10 %. Among the major external factors that contributed to this growth are the anti-dumping measures initiated by the Interagency Commission for International Trade against the fertilizers supplies from the Russian Federation. The company managed to quickly increase the production of mineral fertilizers. For the first 11 months of this year, the production of CAN surged by 81% y.o.y (from 240 900 t to 438 100 t). Urea production increased by 55%. Production of ammonium nitrate also increased, though not that much, – commented Vitaliy Sklyarov, Chairman of the Board, PJSC “Azot”.  In 2018, the company produced almost 1.3 million t of fertilizers, of which 550 800 t of marketable ammonia nitrate; 446 900 t of marketable urea; 265 600 t of liquid nitrogen fertilizers (CAN); 15 300 t of aqueous ammonia as well as 39 300 t of marketable ammonia and 532 700 t of non-concentrated nitric acid.
