Aid of Group DF enterprises to Ukraine exceeded UAH 300 million

Humanitarian aid reached more than 1.2 million of Ukrainians

In the second quarter of 2022 Group DF businesses provided assistance to Ukraine and Ukrainians in total amount of UAH 302 million. Group DF enterprises continue to help Ukraine in five key directions:

• Direct assistance to the army and  TD
• Aid to medicine
• Assistance to displaced persons and residents of territories affected by shelling
• Assistance to city halls, state administrations and local communities
• Direct assistance to state national departments and institutions

In Ukraine support projects all businesses of the Group are involved – nitrogen, gas, titanium, port, logistics, media and others. The amount of aid announced above does not include personal donations of employees and shareholders of enterprises.

“Since April  we have adjusted the concept of our work – we focused primarily on targeted assistance to militaries and  restoration of  infrastructure of destroyed cities. We have established effective communication with aid recipients, built necessary logistics chains and are promptly responding to their requests now. Almost all teams of the Group’s businesses are involved in this work, everything is done for the Victory of Ukraine ,” says Oleg Arestarkhov, Head of Corporate Communications of Group DF.

The businesses of Group DF directed assistance in total amount of UAH 169 million to meet the needs of army and TD . Among the key directions are purchase, repair and transfer of cars (276 units), purchase of body armors (300+), tactical clothing (2680+), as well as stoves, helmets, ammunition, drones, generators, thermal imagers, purchase of fuel for the military , implementation of a number of technical works.

Group DF businesses assistance to local communities (cities and villages) amounted to over UAH 80 million. Support was provided in such areas as infrastructure restoration, repair of premises, schools, railway tracks, fuel and water delivery.

 Aid to madicine was provided by the Group’s enterprises in the amount of UAH 28.7 million. Nitrogen business in particuar continues to purchase and deliver medical drugs and equipment for hospitals and clinics in 12 regions of the country.

The Group’s enterprises continue to provide humanitarian aid to affected population. In the second quarter of 2022 assistance in the amount of UAH 14.8 million was provided . This is first of all help in organizing temporary accommodation for victims, equipment of premises, provision of water, food and medicines, evacuation of people, help in clearing debris.

25% of the aid was provided through 7 charitable foundations.National Funds are partners of Group DF enterprises: All-Ukrainian Fund for Assistance to Families of Ukrainian Heroes “DRUG”, PO “Help the Front”, Voluntary formation No 8 “Lisovyk”, CF “Ukrainian Social Defence”,CF “Children’s Heart” (assistance to Children’s Cardiology and Cardiosurgery “Okhmatdit” for children affected by the explosions), CF “Podillia Volunteers”.

On February 26 , the Group’s press service reported that Dmytro Firtash’s Group DF transferred UAH 100 million to special accounts of the NBU to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
