In 2014, Mezhyrichensk Mining and Concentration Complex (Mezhyrichensk MCC LLC), a part of Group DF, almost doubled production of ilmenite concentrate. The plant produced 145,000 tons of ilmenite concentrate (contains 42% of Тi2O) in 2014, while in 2013 the same figure amounted to 73,600 tons.

The major portion of products was produced for Crimea TITAN (Armiansk), Zaporizhzhia Titanium and Magnesium Combine LLC (Zaporizhzhia) and Sumykhimprom PrJSC (Sumy). The plant exported about 5% of its end products.

In 2014, the net profit of Mezhyrichensk MCC LLC amounted to UAH 43.2 million (2.3 times more than in 2013). The plant paid UAH 23.6 million of taxes and dues.

Buying and setup of separators (4 ERM-240/2I) at the factory for primary concentration of the concentrate became the largest investment of 2014 (UAH 34 million).

“We managed to accomplish production plans – to double production volume due to launch of new Yuzhnyj section. Our plans comprise further investments in the Mining and Concentration Complex, modernization and increasing the production volume,” emphasized Ivan Bondar, director of Mezhyrichensk MCC LLC.

The maximum design capacity of the Mining and Concentration Complex is 200,000 tons per year. Group DF’s total investments in the plant amounted to over UAH 207 million.
