Mezhdurechensk Mining and Concentration Complex (Mezhdurechensk MCC JSC), a part of Group DF titanium business, has produced at year-end 2015 158.9 K tons of commercial 42% Ti2O ilmenite concentrate, that is 9.6% more than in 2014. “The increase in production figures is clearly in line with the business plan. The modernization of rotary magnetic separators 4ERM-240/2I in 2015 at the processing plant of the “South” area has enabled the company to increase the ilmenite content in the product by nearly 5%. This has made a positive impact on operating results in 2015. Investments allow not only to increase the production volumes and to make the company more competitive, but what is very important for the region – to contribute to the creation of new jobs. For example, during the year we have increased the number of staff by 32% – from 292 to 387”the Director of Mezhdurechensk MCC Ivan Bondar stressed.

The total Group DF’s investments to Mezhdurechensk MCC amounted to UAH 207 million. In 2015, the amount of taxes paid amounted to UAH 42.9 million.
