In the 1st quarter of 2024 GroupDF businesses transferred UAH 1.076 billion of taxes

Based on the results of the 1st quarter of 2024 companies of Group DF transferred totally UAH 1.076 billion of taxes to the state and local budgets of Ukraine. In particular UAH 621.9 million was paid as value added tax, UAH 37.7 million as payment for land, UAH 22.6 million as environmental tax, UAH 21.4 million as income tax and UAH 372.7 million as other taxes.

Most of taxes were paid by Group’s core businesses – nitrogen, titanium, gas, port, logistics, grain trading and media.

“We remain the largest taxpayer in chemical industry, which today has already become one of the key ones in the country’s economy. Our businesses are not limited only to fulfilling tax obligations, but also help Ukrainians in financing of social projects. That is why business continues to operate and invest despite enormous risks. We don’t just create Ukrainian products and sell them. We have a difficult mission: today we guarantee country’s food security and thus make the state more resilient during war time. Without any doubt big Ukrainian business remains the support and foundation of the economy, and we will be among the country’s largest investors. But more effective and thoughtful support for Ukrainian industries from the Government could stimulate rapid economic growth and help increase tax revenues, which in its turn would make it possible to even more effectively finance basic budget areas such as defense, education, medicine and social security for Ukrainians,” commented Oleg ARESTARKHOV, Head of corporate communications department of Group DF.​

Business of Group DF together with volunteer groups of employees and top managers continue to implement large projects for humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians affected by war, projects to support army and medicine.

Total assistance of the staff and business of Group DF to Ukraine has exceeded UAH 1.22 billion since the beginning of the full-scale war.

In total private business donated UAH 58.5 billion to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian programs during the war. Group DF remains among the largest donors in Ukraine according to the rating NV dated April 23, 2024.
