In January 2021, PrJSC “Severodonetsk Azot Association”, a member of Group DF nitrogen line of business, produced 97,610 t of mineral fertilizers.
In particular, the company produced 45,500 t of ammonium nitrate, 46,560 t of urea, 150 t of aqueous ammonia technical and 5,400 t of UAN (urea ammonium nitrate). Aside from that, the company also produced 49,790 t of ammonia, 424 t of liquid carbon dioxide, 6,040 cubic meters of medical gas oxygen in cylinders.
“Since the beginning of this year, we have been keeping up the production pace taken in 2020 thanks to the restoration of the full production cycle for mineral fertilizers. We fulfill the production plan and deliver on all our obligations to supply mineral fertilizers to the farmers,” said Leonid Bugaev, Chairman of the Board, PrJSC “Severodonetsk Azot Association”.
Repair campaigns and modernization of technological equipment and service lines carried out at PrJSC “Severodonetsk Azot Association” ensured the stable operations of production facilities. Major projects included the repair and reconstruction of the ammonia production workshop 1-A, the repair of the granulation tower and the modernization of the UAN production unit.
Earlier, it was reported that in November 2020, PrJSC “Severodonetsk Azot Association” resumed the production of medical oxygen. The output of this product continues into 2021: in January, more than 6,000 cubic meters were produced.
“The situation around COVID-19 epidemic remains difficult and we continue to produce medical oxygen in the amount required to meet the demand of the hospitals in the region, ” stressed Leonid Bugaev.
As a reminder, in 2020, PrJSC “Severodonetsk Azot Association” produced 843,160 t of mineral fertilizers, including 444,380 t of ammonium nitrate, 352,040 t of urea, 4,420 t of aqueous ammonia technical, 42,320 t of UAN (urea-ammonia nitrate).
