Concern Stirol helped renovate facade of a school in Gorlovka

Stirol [1]In the upcoming academic year the students of Gorlovka secondary school #4 will see their school renovated. Concern Stirol JSC, part of OSTCHEM holding consolidating nitrogen fertilizer producers of Group DF, donated construction materials for renovation of the school’s facade. This was announced by Mykola Kruzhylin, Head of Gorlovka Education and Sports Directorate.

“Stirol will make this present to the students on the Knowledge Day. Thanks to Stirol’s help, the facade of the school will be renovated”, said Kruzhylin. He also reminded that school #4 is not the only school which received assistance from OSTCHEM. Schools #1 and #73 received assistance as well. “All renovation works on the buildings of those schools have been performed by Stirol’s employees”, said Mykola Kruzhylin. Over the last two years, Concern Stirol helped 8 schools in Gorlovka in total.

Having such businesses supporting the educational system is really an asset for Gorlovka”.

“Support of education and health care in Gorlovka is one of priority corporate social responsibility directions for Stirol”, says Oleksandr Khalin, General Director of OSTCHEM, and Head of Concern Stirol Supervisory Council. “We have been helping Gorlovka since Stirol’s acquisition by Dmitry Firtash. The producer has already helped such educational institutions as secondary schools #22, #47 (multidisciplinary lyceum “Start”), #73, kindergarten #16 “The Ray”, secondary school #25 (multidisciplinary lyceum “Success”), secondary school #21, and boarding secondary school #9.

Concern Stirol is also the sponsor of Gorlovka city teams at All-Ukrainian academic competitions in chemistry, biology and mathematics.
