Mining and Enrichment


Group DF titanium mining and enrichment business is represented by the following companies:

Ilmenite and rutile are the primary raw materials for the production of titanium dioxide and titanium metals. Around 20% of global ilmenite and rutile reserves are found in Ukraine.

Access to these resources enables Group DF to not only develop a vertically-integrated titanium business, but also to optimize its logistical links by supplying the Group’s titanium producers in Ukraine with domestic raw materials.

The combined annual production capacity of Group DF mining and enrichment companies is about 755,000 tonnes of ilmenite and 65,000 tonnes of rutile. With growing demand for titanium raw materials, the Group intends to expand its ilmenite and rutile production capacities over the next few years.
