Group DF businesses transferred more than UAH 3.25 billion of taxes to budgets of various levels


Companies included in the structure of Group DF of entrepreneur Dmitry Firtash, at the end of 2023 transferred totally more than UAH 3.25 billion of taxes to the state budget of Ukraine. Of these, UAH 1.46 billion is value added tax (VAT), UAH 584.3 million is unified social contribution (USC), UAH 596.6 million is personal income tax (PIT) and UAH 259.9 million is income tax.

These are the results of the completed audit of the Group’s enterprises based on the results of 2023. Most of  taxes were paid by Group’s core businesses – nitrogen, gas, logistics, titanium, port, grain trading and media .

“The key challenges for our businesses in 2023 were to be resilient and adapt to operate more effectively in wartime conditions. Despite unprecedented challenges that our enterprises continue to face, we are responsible for the results of our activities to stakeholders, clearly fulfilling our obligations to the state, staff and partners. During wartime our business ensured an increase of tax payments, and in the regions where we operate we among the largest taxpayers. Our enterprises were not limited solely to paying taxes – social support for war affected Ukrainians remains our basic priority,” commented Oleg Arestarkhov, Head of  corporate communications department of Group DF.

The total assistance of Group DF businesses to Ukraine and Ukrainians in 2023 amounted to UAH 𝟗𝟑𝟑, million. In the regions of presence  Group’s enterprises continue to finance a number of social and humanitarian projects to support Ukrainians. First of all we are talking about projects to restore urban infrastructure, projects to help doctors and projects to provide Ukrainians with clean water. Also a number of projects to improve the safety of city residents are the order of the day.

“We have clearly defined priorities of social responsibility the Group is ready to assume. Many of them are already being implemented in close contact with city halls and regional administrations. During difficult times for the country the role of big business increases and in the future we only intend to increase the volume of social assistance.  Fundamental approaches of business are preserved – these are caring for Ukrainians and high standards of doing business,” summarized Arestarkhov.
